Mark Wasyliw – Experienced Criminal Defence Lawyer

Mark Wasyliw is a highly skilled criminal defence lawyer based in Winnipeg, dedicated to defending clients facing serious criminal charges. With over two decades of experience, he has successfully represented individuals in assault, drug offences, sexual offences, fraud, impaired driving, and other criminal matters across Manitoba, Ontario, Saskatchewan, and Alberta.

Mark has appeared at all levels of court in Canada, including the Supreme Court of Canada, defending clients against serious criminal allegations. He is known for his strategic approach, persuasive advocacy, and deep understanding of criminal law.

After earning his law degree from the University of Ottawa (LLB, 1999), Mark articled at Brodsky & Company, staying on as a Senior Associate until he founded Bueti Wasyliw Law Firm in 2009. He later completed a Master’s in Criminal Law from Osgoode Hall Law School, further strengthening his expertise in criminal defence.
